Capital City Equipment Company is an authorized Bobcat dealership that was started by Bill and Evelyn Kruse in 1976 and has been serving Central Iowa since. Now owned by son, Mark Kruse, Capital City Equipment Company continues to offer one of the largest inventories of Bobcat equipment in Iowa. 

In 2000, Mark opened Bobcat of Ames to serve the construction industry in Ames, Iowa and the surrounding areas and is the trusted source for all your buying, renting and service needs. In order to better serve west of the Des Moines metro, Bobcat of De Soto was built and opened in January of 2026.
