Summer is here! Though summer vacations are not an option for many due to COVID, crops, and harvest, you can still have fun. Need some fun ideas, though? Don’t worry. We created a Summer Bucket List with some great ideas that are budget-friendly, summer-themed, and, most of all, fun!   

Bale Hay  

Picnic in the back of the Gator  

Drive the tractor to DQ to get ice cream  

Make ice cream  

Go fishing on the lake or bay  

Float the Frio  

Catch fireflies  

Spend the weekend at the hunting camp  

Shell Corn  

Movie night with the movie projected on the barn  

Plant a summer garden  

Shooting cans off the fence post with BB Guns  

Watermelon on the porch  

BBQ Anything  

Go swimming in the pond or lake  

Run through the sprinklers  

Neighborhood Cornhole or Washers tournament  

Bake a cake or cookies for the kids with the kids and share with your neighbors  

Make a pitcher of lemonade with real lemons  

Grab some sacks from the mill and have sack races  

Go on a snipe hunt with flashlights
